Flight requirements:
Estimated cost: $6200
- Min 35 hrs of training
- 20 hrs flight training that includes:
- 3 hrs of x-country
- 3 hrs of night flight
- 1 x-country of 100nm or more
- 10 take-off and landings
- 3 hrs instrument
- 3 hrs check ride prep
- 5 hrs solo flight training that includes:
- 1 x-country of 100 nm or more
- 3 landings at a controlled field
- *Note: this is the FAA minimum. Most pilots will require more flight time to be prepared for the Practical Test. The national average is 54 hrs of total time.
- Including books, written test, medical exam, flight test fee and instructor/aircraft rental.
- Intro flights are available for first time students at $59
